The Brief

01

Burger King set out to create a bold, dynamic motion graphic ad that fused striking 2D design with their premium product photography. They wanted a spot that grabbed attention instantly—both through its vibrant animation and eye-catching visual style.

As the sole graphic designer, I had the opportunity to take full creative ownership of this project, leading every step of the process. From brainstorming and storyboarding to crafting style frames and animating, I brought the concept to life from start to finish, ensuring a cohesive and impactful final product.

The Process

02

My design approach for this project brought energy to every frame, ensuring to match the dynamism of Burger King’s past campaigns while sticking to their neutral primary colour palette. I focused on creating bold, attention-grabbing compositions using exaggerated scale, intentional cropping, and dramatic product close-ups to keep viewers engaged.

To streamline the transition to animation, I first designed graphic style frames to map out key compositions, using them later as a base to brainstorm seamless transitions and animations later in the creative process.
